Clothing optional since 2002, butt before you strip down make sure you are in the designated area and be sure to dip those toes in to test the water temp before diving in.
Little Beach (Makena State Park)
At 650 feet long, this is one of the most admired Hawaiian nudist beaches. Popular since the 60’s, this tranquil hotspot is popular with locals and tourists. Sunsets are incredible.
Wreck Beach
The hot little landscape is actually the second biggest clothing optional beach in North America, with over 100,000 visitors each year.
Lady Jane Beach
Officially known as Lady Bay but widely called Lady Jane, this lovely little beach lies on the other side of Port Jackson Harbor from Sydney’s other gay naturist area, Obelisk Beach.
Sandy Bay
Pass the main beach and find peaceful smaller coves and numerous spots in the dunes or directly on the rocks to enjoy the sun without worrying about tan lines.
Praia do Leblon
At this beach oasis, find thin white sand, blue water and waves. Rent beach chairs and an umbrella at reasonable prices to spend countless hours toasting both cheeks.
Black’s Beach
You haven’t lived until you’ve soaked in the sun and waves the way nature intended. The trek for beach access can be challenging if you’re afraid of heights. Consider it exercise.
Beach 19/Stop 19
Just north of Fonte da Telha beach, south of Lisbon in Portugal, find this wild beach with no buildings or developments in sight.
The Pines Beach
Plan a day trip to Fire Island’s Cherry Grove and between the Grove and the Pines find this shores of this clothing-optional beach. Come as you are!
Gunnison Beach (Sandy Hook)

Obelisk Beach
On the north side of Sydney’s harbor, all you really need at Obelisk Beach is a bottle of sunscreen and a jug of water. Nude sunbathing encouraged.
Playa De Las Balmins
Sitges has twenty-two beaches across the coast and Playa De Las Balmins is situated just to the west of Port d’Aiguadolç. The first two coves are the most popular with the boys.
Baker Beach
Baker Beach is infamously the original home to Burning Man. When the fog rolls out over the bay and the temperatures rise, go to the north end to strip down and sprawl out.
Sitges
Playa del Muerto aka Cala del Home Mort Beach is “Dead Man’s Beach,” a gay male nude stretch of pebbly seaside in the very gay enclave of Sitges.
Sydney
Little Congwong Beach at La Perouse is a bigger, nicer beach on Botany Bay. While not official nude, local authorities are aware that people go nude here and don’t mind. Take a risk.
